Medical Assistant – Part Time Float – West Metro

Days:                M-F
Hours:              32-40 hours per week, variable 8:30a – 5:00p
Benefit eligible position
Location:                  Coon Rapids, Fridley, Maple Grove and Plymouth
Orientation will take place at our Minneapolis clinic.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Rooming patients
  • Assisting providers with procedures
  • Ordering imaging and lab testing
  • Assisting with referrals
  • Maintaining exam rooms and other clinical areas

Qualifications and Abilities:

  • 1-2 years medical clinic experience required
  • EMR experience required
  • Organized and able to prioritize
  • Able to anticipate the needs of the providers and meet the needs of a fast-paced clinic
  • Able to work independently as well as with a team

Medical Receptionist – FT – Minneapolis

Days:                M-F
Hours:              40 hours per week, 8:30a-5:00p (may require opening/closing of clinic)

Requirements:

  • Must have 2 years of recent experience in a medical practice
  • EMR experience
  • Able to work independently and with a team

Responsibilities:

The medical receptionist will provide superior service and is responsible for the efficient flow of the clinic and orderly greeting and registration of patients. This position includes serving as a resource for patients and staff providing excellent customer service in a professional manner. This position requires critical thinking skills, problem solving skills and a strong work ethic. Tasks include but are not limited to, scheduling appointments, patient registration, opening new patient accounts, updating established patient accounts, checking referrals, and collecting co-pays. Handling daily clinic flow, high volume calls, and communication with clinic staff.

Skills and Qualifications: 

Our perfect candidate will need to have excellent verbal communication skills, superior customer service, be highly motivated and have a positive and team player attitude. Candidate must be reliable, able to multi-task, have strong computer skills and work independently in a fast paced environment. This position has multiple duties and responsibilities and is perfect for someone who has great organizational skills, pays attention to detail, and enjoys a busy atmosphere.
