Elizabeth Perkins, M.D.

Dr. Elizabeth Perkins is a fellowship trained Neurotologist for both adults and children.
She attended Albion College for her undergraduate degree and earned her medical
degree from the University of Cincinnati. She completed her residency in
Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of North Carolina in Chapel
Hill. She then trained with the Otology Group, one of the top neurotology fellowships in
the country, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She then stayed in Nashville, TN as
a faculty surgeon, assistant professor, and director of Pediatric Neurotology. While at
VUMC, she participated in extensive cochlear implant research and leads the annual
International Fall Cochlear Implant meeting. 

Dr. Perkins specializes in all aspects of neurotology, including skull base tumors
(acoustic neuromas/vestibular schwannomas, meningiomas, etc.), cochlear implants,
hearing loss, Meniere’s disease, cholesteatoma, otosclerosis and chronic ear disease.
She is passionate about improving her patient’s lives through hearing restoration and
treating her patients with compassion and respect. She believes open and honest
communication is essential for a strong physician/patient relationship. 

She is excited to return to the Midwest and begin her career in Minneapolis with ENT
Specialty Care. She loves spending time with her husband, son, and their golden
retriever.
