Job Description

The Audiologist Assistant will work under the supervision of the audiology director and practice manager and support our amazing team of audiologists by providing clinic assistance, including patient care, as well as performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties.

Our perfect candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be highly motivated, have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team setting. Additionally, the candidate must be reliable, able to think critically, with strong problem-solving skills, appreciate organization and attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Audiology team in a variety of tasks in a clinical setting.
  • Complete clerical duties related to the hearing aid program.
  • Maintain and update database as needed.
  • Maintain organization of clinic space, equipment, supplies, etc.
  • Engage with patients and patient families in a variety of ways including telephone and mail correspondence, walk-in or follow up appointments and possible clinical testing assistance.
  • Instruct patients on use and care of hearing technology.
  • Troubleshoot hearing technology devices, recommending repairs, and drafting requests for authorization of parts and repairs.
  • Participate in community education engagements.

Qualifications

  • Education – High School diploma with relevant experience or Bachelor’s Degree in related field, preferably in communication sciences and disorders.
  • Experience – One year of relevant experience with customer service or patient care in a healthcare setting.

The LPN/CMA will provide superior service and is responsible for effectively communicating with patients. This position includes serving as a resource for patients and staff providing excellent customer service in a professional manner. Tasks include but are not limited to, scheduling appointments, patient phone calls, referrals, data collection and providing back-up in the clinic.

Ear Nose and Throat Specialty Care of Minnesota is seeking both a BE/BC General and Head and Neck otolaryngologist to join a large, thriving private practice in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis - St. Paul) metro area.   Practice includes affiliations with the leading hospitals in the area, and covers the broad range ENT work from community to complex.

As the largest and most comprehensive group of ENT specialists in the upper Midwest, you will be a part a robust multidisciplinary team of ENTs, including experts in head and neck surgery, advanced rhinology and skull base surgery, facial plastic surgery.   Work in our brand-new construction, state-of-the-art facility located in St. Louis Park, in addition to nearby suburbs.

Medical Reception

JOB TITLE: Medical Reception

REPORTS TO: Regional Clinic Manager

STATUS: Non-Exempt (hourly)

ROLE: This individual is responsible for a warm, welcoming first impression both in person and on the phone. They are responsible for greeting, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and completing all necessary paperwork while maintaining and organizing the flow of the front desk and scheduling areas. This position is the first impression for our patients and customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts
  • Welcomes patients and visitors in person, on the telephone and answering or referring inquiries
  • Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, provider time by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone
  • Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient’s arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding providers of service delays
  • Comforts patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties, answering patients’ questions, and maintaining the reception area
  • Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information
  • Understanding and having knowledge of insurances and verifying active insurance, along with the ability to verify and utilize insurance websites
  • Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information and recording and collecting patient charges
  • Daily census, cash total and EBO reports
  • Schedules language and ASL interpreters, as needed
  • Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information
  • General knowledge of office equipment such as computers, copiers, faxes, and ordering office supplies
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
