Ilya Perepelitsyn, M.D.

Dr. Perepelitsyn is a board-certified otolaryngologist. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA in 1995 and his M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston in 1999. He completed his residency training in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston, MA in 2004. Following residency training, Dr. Perepelitsyn worked in a busy Otolaryngology practice in Massachusetts, until his family decided to relocate to Minnesota.

Dr. Perepelitsyn has been honored with multiple scholastic awards, which include his election to Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor societies, Leon Levinson Prize in Physiology, Dr. Frank Inserra Prize in Pathology, Phi Delta Epsilon Fraternity Award in Anatomy, and New England Otolaryngology Society award for resident presentation. Dr. Perepelitsyn offers his patients a variety of modern treatment and surgical approaches in such diverse areas of his specialty as pediatric otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, otology, laryngology, sinus surgery and treatment of sleep disorders.

Dr. Perepelitsyn was born in Moscow, Russia. His family immigrated to the United States in 1992. He is married and his wife, Dr. Lioudmila Sitnikova, is a Urologist practicing in the Twin Cities area. They have a daughter and son, and enjoy traveling, reading, skiing, rollerblading and are avid moviegoers.
