Micah A. Berman, M.D.

Dr. Micah A. Berman is a fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist. He received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his residency training at Cornell and Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. He completed additional fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin before returning to his hometown of Minneapolis/St. Paul. In addition to treating common pediatric otolaryngology problems such as ear infections, sleep apnea, and adenoid/tonsil disease, Dr. Berman’s areas of clinical expertise include the medical and surgical management of pediatric airway diseases such as obstructive sleep apnea and stridor, neck masses, sinus disease, hearing disorders, and voice and speech deficiencies. He also specializes in the treatment of children with complex medical problems including those with tracheostomy tubes, feeding and swallowing disorders, and drooling.

Dr. Berman leads the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) division of Gillette Children’s Specialty Health Care and is part of their Cleft & Craniofacial and Aerodigestive teams. He is on staff at Children’s Hospital and Clinics of MN.   He collaborates frequently with other pediatric subspecialists throughout the region, including frequent combined procedures.  He was quickly recognized by Minnesota Monthly and St. Paul Magazine as a Top Doctor on numerous occasions.  He was named medical director of Ear Nose and Throat Specialty Care in 2025.

Dr. Berman enjoys playing piano, running, skiing, hiking, travel, and spending time with his family.
