Michael B. Johnson, M.D.

Dr. Michael B. Johnson is a board-certified otolaryngologist with a broad background in Otolaryngology. He is a medical Otolaryngologist, providing comprehensive treatment of ear, nose and throat conditions in both children and adults, with a special interest and expertise in helping patients with hearing loss, tinnitus and vestibular disorders.

His practice philosophy is to empower patients to have the knowledge and resources necessary to make the best decisions for their health that fits their personal situation. He enjoys listening to patients’ stories and considers it a privilege to help them improve the quality of their lives. Dr. Johnson is a veteran who served both in the Navy and with the Marines. Prior to joining us at ENTSC, he was the Chief of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Naval Hospital Great Lakes. He also served as the hospital’s Quality Management Physician Advisor, and throughout his career he has served on hospital committees and boards as a champion of quality improvement initiatives.

A native of Wahpeton, North Dakota, Dr. Johnson is an avid sportsman and outdoorsman, whose hobbies include music, cooking, skiing, hiking, sailing, and fishing.
